THIS IS THE CENTURY PLANT OUT SIDE THE OFFICE. BELOW IS THE BLOOM OF THE ABOVE PLANT. THE BLOOM IS ALMOST 50 FEET HIGH. WE HAVE TO USE STRAPS TO KEEP IT FROM FALLING OVER. AS YOU KNOW, THE BLOOM IS THE "LAST HOORAH" OF THE PLANT. AFTER IT BLOOMS THE PLANT WILL DIE AND WE WILL REPLACE IT.  BRING YOUR RV AND COME SEE US.

Our 4th of July party was quite out of the ordinary.  We had two singers that were absolutely amazing.  They were William Parcher and Joseph David.  They sang as a duet and also by themselves.  They were a great hit with everyone.  Here is a letter we got from two of our residents who were at the party.

"Dear Carol & Jim,
I am sorry that it is this terrible drought that brought us
alternative entertainment for the 4th of July, but what a treat to
have a live music concert.  (I guess that
is just about the only silver lining in this ongoing weather pattern.)

Jim and I thoroughly enjoyed the concert by Bill &
Joseph. The outdoor setting was just perfect.  These 2 performers are in my opinion just spectacular—some songs give me
goose bumps.  Anyway, we want to thank
you for providing us & the park with such a spectacular Independence Day
Celebration—one of the best I can remember in years.  And, not to forget,-- the good food.  The grilled pork was just delicious.
